Indications:
Gaviscon strawberry flavored chewable tablets belong to a group of medicines called 'reflux suppressants', which form a protective layer over the contents of the stomach that prevents stomach acid from leaving the stomach and entering the esophagus, thus causing the burning sensation and discomfort.
Gaviscon strawberry flavor chewable tablets are used to treat symptoms of gastro-oesophageal reflux such as acid regurgitation, heartburn and indigestion (related to reflux) which may occur, for example, after meals or during pregnancy and when patients with symptoms associated with esophagitis.
Method of administration:
For oral administration. Chew well before swallowing.
Adults, including the elderly and children over 12 years of age: when symptoms appear, take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime.
Children under 12 years of age: must be administered only on the advice of a doctor.
If you forget to take a dose, it is not necessary to take a double dose the next time, but to continue taking the usual dose at the right time.
