Indications:
ACC Junior fluidifies viscous mucus in case of upper respiratory tract diseases:
laryngitis, acute and chronic sinusitis, otitis media.
ACC Junior facilitates coughing and expectoration of secretions in acute and chronic respiratory diseases accompanied by disorders in mucus formation and transport: acute bronchitis, asthmatic bronchitis, chronic broncho-pneumonia, bronchiectasis, mucoviscidosis, bronchial asthma.
Administration:
Children under 2 years of age: administer ACC Junior to children under 2 years of age only on doctor's advice, as there is insufficient experience with acetylcysteine in this age group.
- Children aged 2 to 6 years 5 ml: (1 measuring spoon) 2-3 times daily (equivalent to 200-300 mg acetylcysteine)
- Children and adolescents aged 6-14 years: 5 ml (1 measuring spoon) 3-4 times daily (equivalent to 300-400 mg acetylcysteine)
- Adults and adolescents over 14 years of age: 10 ml (2 measuring spoons) 2-3 times daily (equivalent to 400-600 mg acetylcysteine)
The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease. Treatment should be carried out for at least a week, even in case of mild inflammation of the respiratory tract.
It is recommended that treatment be continued 2-3 days after the disappearance of symptoms. It is recommended not to exceed the recommended daily dose.
