Alka-Seltzer, 324 mg, 10 effervescent tablets

Indications:
Alka-Seltzer is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of headaches, dental, pharyngeal, menstrual, muscle and joint, back, rheumatic and minor arthritic pain. It is also indicated for symptomatic treatment of pain and fever from common cold and flu. It is indicated in the symptomatic treatment of headache accompanied by gastric disorders.

Dosage:

Adults: Single dose: 2 effervescent tablets.
Daily dose: up to 8 effervescent tablets.
The single dose can be taken every 4-8 hours if necessary, up to a maximum of 4 doses per day. In patients with impaired heaptic and renal function, doses should be reduced or the dosing interval increased.

For patients on a low-sodium diet: 1 effervescent tablet contains 445 mg of sodium.
