Data on the efficacy of the product after bathing/shampooing of animals are insufficient, therefore this practice is not recommended for 2 days after application of the medicinal product.
Emollient shampoos can be used before treatment, but if used weekly, they reduce the duration of flea protection to about 5 weeks.
Weekly bathing with chlorhexidine 2% medicated shampoo does not affect the efficacy of the product against fleas, as evidenced by studies conducted over a period of 6 weeks.
Dogs should not be allowed to swim in watercourses for 2 days after applying the product.
Ticks may appear sporadically. Thus, it is impossible to completely exclude infection with diseases under adverse conditions.
Pet fleas often infest the pet's basket, bedding and usual resting areas, such as carpets and other soft materials, which must be treated in case of massive infestation and when control measures are initiated with an appropriate insecticide and vacuumed regularly.
Avoid contact of the product with animal eyes.
It is important to ensure that the product is applied in a safe place where the animal cannot lick and it should be avoided that animals lick each other after applying the treatment.
The product can be applied to pregnant females as well as lactating females.
Safety studies in puppies up to 8 weeks of age and weighing around 2 kg per month treated with doses 5 times the recommended dose have shown no undesirable effects.
The risk of undesirable reactions increases with overdose (see section 6), therefore always use the pipette with the dose appropriate to the animal's weight.
