Indications:
Antispasmin FORTE 80 mg tablets contains as an active substance drotaverine hydrochloride which is an antispasmodic med.
This is used for symptomatic treatment of smooth muscle spasm:
-associated with diseases of the bile ducts - gallstones, cholangiolithiasis, cholecystitis, dangerecitis, cholangitis, papillitis;
-associated with urinary tract diseases - renal lithiasis, ureteral lithiasis, pyelitis, cystitis and in bladder sphincter spasm.
This is used in combination with other med in the treatment:
-smooth muscle spasm associated with diseases of the gastrointestinal tract: gastric or duodenal ulcer, gastritis, spasms of the sphincters cardia and pylor, enteritis, colitis, spastic colitis accompanied by constipation and irritable bowel forms accompanied by bloating (bloating);
- headaches with a sensation of intracranial tension;
-dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), uterine spasm associated with gynecological diseases.
The usual dose for adults is 1 tablet 2-3 times a day.
