Indications:
Apap Forte for children belongs to a group of medicines called analgesics (pain relievers) and antipyretics, which relieve pain of mild to moderate intensity and reduce fever.
Apap Forte for children can be used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain (eg headache, toothache and period pain) and/or fever (high temperature).
Apap Forte for children is used for the treatment of mild to moderate pain and/or fever in infants (over 3 months of age), children, adolescents and adults (including the elderly).
Method of administration:
- Apap Forte for children must be administered orally.
- Shake well before use.
- The cap of the bottle is equipped with a child-proof closing device. To open it, you have to press the cover and turn it clockwise at the same time.
- The oral suspension must not be diluted or mixed with other drinks.
- Do not exceed the established dose. Please note that higher than recommended doses may result in a risk of very serious liver damage.
- The recommended daily dose of paracetamol is approximately 60 mg/kg per day, divided into 4 or 6 daily administrations, i.e. 15 mg/kg at 6-hour intervals or 10 mg/kg at 4-hour intervals.
- The dose must be determined mainly according to the patient's weight.
