Indications:
Aspenter 100 mg works by preventing blood clots and is used to:
- reducing the risk of myocardial infarction in patients with angina pectoris or multiple risk factors
- prevention of recurrence of myocardial infarction
- prevention of stroke (transient ischemic and cerebral infarction)
- maintaining blood circulation in the blood vessels of the heart after certain surgical operations for the purpose of dilating coronary arteries (vascular plasty and coronary artery plasty)
Aspenter 100 mg should not be used to treat fever or pain (of any kind) because it releases a small amount of acetylsalicylic acid.
Dosage:
Unstable angina pectoris, prophylaxis of myocardial infarction relapse after vascular surgery, prophylaxis of transient ischemic attacks and cerebral infarction:
The recommended daily dose is 100-300 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day (1-3 gastroresistant tablets of Aspenter 100 mg per day).
Acute myocardial infarction:
The recommended daily dose is 1-3 gastroresistant tablets of Aspenter 100 mg (equivalent to 100-300 mg acetylsalicylic acid per day).
Prophylaxis of venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism:
The recommended daily dose is one 100 mg tablet of Aspenter (equivalent to 100 mg acetylsalicylic acid).
Prophylaxis of coronary vessel thrombosis in patients with multiple risk factors:
The recommended daily dose is 1 to 2 tablets Aspenter 100 mg (equivalent to 1a 100 to 200 mg acetylsalicylic acid) or 3 tablets Aspenter 100 mg (equivalent to 1a 300 mg acetylsalicylic acid) every 2 days.
The tablets should be taken after meals and swallowed whole with sufficient liquid (e.g. a glass of water).
For the treatment of acute myocardial infarction, the first gastroresistant tablet must be crushed or chewed.
Duration of treatment:
Aspenter 100 mg is intended for long-term use. It is up to the doctor to decide on the duration of treatment.
