Indications:
BIOFEN FORTE 400 mg is indicated for adults and children over 12 years and used to relieve mild to moderately severe pain: headaches including migraine, back pain, muscle pain, toothache, joint pain, menstrual pain. It can also be used in case of fever associated with colds or flu.
Administration method:
The doses are: Usual dose Adults and children over 12 years of age:
The usual dose is one soft capsule BIOFEN FORTE 400 mg (400 mg ibuprofen), administered at intervals of 4-6 hours.
The maximum dose is 3 soft capsules BIOFEN FORTE 400 mg (1200 mg ibuprofen) in 24 hours.
BIOFEN FORTE 400 mg soft capsules are swallowed whole, with a glass of water, preferably after a meal.
Children under the age of 12: BIOFEN FORTE 400 mg is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.
Elderly patients: It is not necessary to decrease the doses, unless there is renal or hepatic insufficiency; in this case, the doses must be determined by the doctor for each individual patient.
You must stop treatment with BIOFEN FORTE 400 mg if: - the fever continues to increase/persists for more than 3 days; - the pain worsens or lasts more than 10 days.
