TARGET SPECIES: Dogs, cats
INDICATIONS: The product is indicated in dogs and cats in the treatment of primary and secondary bacterial infections caused by germs sensitive to sulfadiazine and trimethoprim (respiratory, gastrointestinal, urogenital infections, post-operative infections, infections in the buccal, ophthalmic and auricular cavities, and of the skin, and sepsis).

Active substance:
Sulfadiazine……………………………………………………125 mg
Trimethoprim……………………………………………………25 mg
Do not administer to animals with serious yeanlingney and liver problems.
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients.
Sometimes, skin rashes (hives), gastric irritation (anorexia, vomiting), polyarthritis, keratitis, allergic reactions: pruritus, erythema, dermatitis, alopecia, conjunctivitis.
If you notice serious reactions or other effects not listed in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
BISULFILM tablets are administered orally, as such, or are incorporated into the food, after the tablet has been shredded.
Dogs: The recommended dose is 15 – 30 mg a.s./kg bw/day for 5-7 days. Administer 1 – 2 tablets/10 kg bw/day.
Cats: The recommended dose is 30 mg a.s./kg bw/day for 5-7 days. Administer 1 tablet/5 kg bw/day.
In case of serious infections, the treatment can be extended up to 5 – 6 weeks.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
In order to ensure proper dosage, the body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
