TARGET SPECIES: Dogs, cats.
INDICATIONS: CLOROSTATIC otic solution is indicated in the treatment of otitis externa and suppurative otitis media, caused by germs sensitive to the action of chloramphenicol.
1 ml of product contains:
Active substances:

Dexamethasone disodium phosphate…………………………..1 mg
Excipients:
Benzalkonium chloride …………………………………………0.1 mg
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer to animals with known hypersensitivity to the active substances or any of the excipients.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
In general, the product is well tolerated. Adverse reactions that may require the discontinuation of treatment and special therapeutic measures may rarely occur.
Adverse reactions that may occur, especially after prolonged treatment, are burns, itching, irritation, dryness, folliculitis, hyperthricosis, acne rashes, hypopigmentation, allergic contact dermatitis, skin maceration, secondary infections and skin atrophy.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administer the product to dogs and cats by local instillation into the external ear canal.
Clean the external ear canal with a cerumenolytic solution.
Instill the product into the external ear canal and gently massage the base of the ear, for good diffusion of the product into the ear canal.
The following doses shall be administered:
- In dogs: 4-6 drops 2-3 times/day, for 5-6 days;
- In cats: 2-4 drops 2-3 times/day, for 5-6 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Not applicable.
STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at temperatures lower than 25°C. Keep away from sunlight. Keep away from frost. Do not use after the expiration date stated on the bottle. Shelf life after first opening the primary packaging: 3 months.
