COCCISTOP S - Treament of eimeria in birds and rabbits

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
In general, the product is well tolerated, however, a hemorrhagic syndrome manifested by anorexia, epistaxis, hemoptysis, deviation, paleness of the mucous membranes may occur. If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not stated in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

 

ADMINISTRATION METHOD:
It is administered orally, in the drinking water:
Chickens and rabbits: 45 ml of COCCISTOP S is administered in 22 liters of drinking water for 2-3 days, after this, a 3 days break is taken. Then, 15 ml of COCCISTOP S is administered for 2 days in 11 liters of drinking water, followed by a 2-day break and by one last treatment with the same dilution (15 ml of COCCISTOP S in 11 liters of drinking water).
Turkey poults: 15 ml of COCCISTOP S is administered in 11 liters of drinking water in 3 series of 2 consecutive days with 3 days break.
Hens and turkeys: 45 ml of COCCISTOP S is administered in 22 liters of drinking water for 3 days. After a 3-day break the treatment is resumed administering 15 ml of COCCISTOP S in 11 liters of drinking water for 2 days.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
The medicated drinking water must be replaced every 24 hours. The ingestion of the medicated water depends on the clinical status of the animals. In hot weather, the solution will be administered in the morning in the drinking water, and the water consumption for the rest of the day will be usual, without addition of veterinary medicinal product. In order to obtain a proper dosage, the concentration of the product in the drinking water must be adjusted properly.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: 5 days. The use on the poultry producing eggs for the human consumption is not allowed.
