COLOMINT capsules contain peppermint oil obtained from Mentha piperita leaves and known to have antispasmodic, carminative (antiflatulent) and choleretic properties.
Being enteric-coated, COLOMINT capsules do not disintegrate in the stomach but only when they reach the intestine, where they release the peppermint oil, which causes the intestinal smooth muscles, especially those of the colon, to relax. In addition, peppermint oil, through its carminative effect, promotes the elimination of excess intestinal gases, which leads to the reduction of bloating and abdominal discomfort.
Due to these properties, COLOMINT capsules are beneficial in abdominal discomfort accompanied by intestinal cramps, colic and excessive accumulation of intestinal gases.
Composition:
Each capsule contains: Peppermint oil (Mentha piperita) 0.2 ml.
Administration:
Adults: 1-2 capsules, 3 times a day, before meals. Children 12 – 17 years: 1 capsule 3 times a day, before meals.
