INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE::
Use the product diluted in the drinking water, at room temperature, by spraying on surfaces or by immersing items into the disinfectant solution, observing the concentrations and contact times specified, depending on the nature of the contaminant and the degree of contamination.
Virucidal disinfection of necessity (PT2, PT4):
The product is used diluted in drinking water, at room temperature, by spraying on surfaces or by immersing the objects in the disinfectant solution, respecting the specified concentrations and contact times, depending on the nature of the contaminant and the degree of contamination.
Virulicidal disinfection of necessity (TP2, TP4):
- Disinfection in the presence of viruses with an envelope of the type: Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV) (the surrogate of the Hepatitis C virus – HCV): 2% (2:100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 5 minutes.
- Disinfection in the presence of viruses with transmission through blood of the type: Vaccinia virus Elstree strain HBV, HCV, HIV, of the viruses of the Orthomyxoviridae family (influenza viruses: H5N1 and H1N1): 2% (2:100) DEO-SEPT in the water, contact time: 5 minutes. The virucidal activity against the bacteriophage Lactococcus lactis has not been tested.
Antibacterial disinfection (PT2, PT4):
-Prophylaxis: 2% (2:100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 10 minutes or 2.5% (5:200) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 5 minutes. Of necessity: 2% (2:100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 15 minutes, or 2.5% (5:200) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 5 minutes.
- Mold removal (PT2, PT4): fresh solutions are prepared with the 2.5% (5:200) concentration of DEO-SEPT in water. The solution is applied so as to completely cover the area touched by the mold. Allow it to dry and repeat the treatment every 7 days if mold is found to re-appear. Rinsing is not necessary.
- Antifungal disinfection (PT2): prophylaxis: 2% (2:100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 15 minutes; of necessity: 2% (2:100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 60 minutes or 2.5% (5:200) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 30 minutes.
- Antifungal disinfection (PT4): Prophylaxis: 1% (1:100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 30 minutes or 2% (2: 100) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 15 minutes. Of necessity: 2.5% (5:200) DEO-SEPT in water, contact time: 15 minutes.
- Disinfection of the surfaces (PT2, PT4): the amount of disinfectant solution applied depending on the nature of the surfaces: 100 ml of DEO-SEPT solution/m2 for smooth surfaces; 300 ml of DEO-SEPT solution/m2 for porous surfaces. Before using the disinfectant, an adequate cleaning of the surfaces shall be carried out.
STORAGE:
At temperatures ranging between 10 and 30°C. Store in the original containers, away from solar radiation, heat sources, in dry and well ventilated areas. Store away from incompatible materials, food and beverages. Keep the containers tightly closed and sealed until use. Any containers that have been opened shall be re-closed and kept upright to prevent any leakage. Do not store in unlabeled containers. Use suitable containers to prevent environmental contamination. Recommended materials for the containers: bottles made of plastic (PET, PE).
