Properties:
Gerdoff Protection is an original and innovative combination of chondroitin sulfate, hyaluronic acid, aloe and honey, recommended in the symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux, because:
- Chondroitin sulfate is the main component of mucus secreted by parietal cells. It adheres to the gastroesophageal mucosa, insulating it and thus protecting it from the attack of gastric juices.
- Hyaluronic acid protects and repairs the esophageal mucosa.
- Honey soothes, moisturizes and protects, forming a barrier in the form of a film on the esophageal mucosa, which it protects and moisturizes, thus relieving pain. Honey also acts on the oropharyngeal mucosa, relieving the stinging throat caused by acid reflux.
- Aloe has gastro-protective properties due to its mucopolysaccharide content: these, distributed on the stomach mucosa, form a protective film throughout the gastric tract against acids or irritants.
Indications:
Gerdoff Protection action recommended for:
- symptomatic treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease. It quickly reduces symptoms such as: burning (heartburn), acid or alkaline regurgitation, regurgitation due to position or nocturnal regurgitation, epigastric pain, irritative cough or dysphonia.
- prevention of erosion caused by the irritative action of acids produced in the stomach.
Method of administration:
Adults and children over 12 years of age: 10-20 mL after main meals and before going to bed, or as needed, when symptoms such as stomach pain and retrosternal burning appear, according to the doctor's recommendation.
Children over 6 years old: it is recommended to use the product only after consulting a doctor. 10 mL after main meals and/or before going to bed, or as needed, when symptoms such as stomach pain and restrosternal burning occur.
Method of administration: Open the sachet and administer the contents directly into the mouth. It is recommended not to drink fluids immediately after administration.
