INDICATIONS: HELMIZOL A 2,5 - is recommended for the treatment of the following endoparasites in sheep, goats and cattle, produced by:
Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostroongylus spp.,, Strongyloides spp., Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Chabertia spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Toxocara spp.;
Pulmonary nematodes: Dictyocaulus spp., Protostrongylius spp., Müllerius spp.;
Cestoda (Tapeworms): Moniezia spp.;
Adult trematodes: Fasciola spp., Dicrocoelium spp., Paramphistomum spp.

COMPOSITION:

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
It is not administered in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.


ADVERSE REACTIONS:
There were none reported at the recommended doses.

ADMINISTRATION METHOD:
Se aIt is administrated orally, using usual devices, the doses recommended being the following (1 ml of oral suspension correspond to 25 mg of albendazole):
Sheep and goats:
2 ml of product/10 kg body weight are administered, corresponding to 5 mg of albendazole/1 kg body weight. For the treatment of adult trematodes, as well as of infestations with Protostrongylus spp., the recommended dose is of 3 ml of product/10 kg body weight, corresponding to 7.5 mg of albendazole/1 kg body weight.
Cattle:
30 ml of product/100 kg body weight are administered, corresponding to 7.5 mg of albendazole/1 kg body weight.
For the treatment of adult trematodes, as well as of larval stages of Ostertagia spp., the dose is increased to 40 ml of product/100 kg body weight (10 mg of albendazole/1 kg body weight).
The veterinarian will establish the repeat treatment depending on the biological cycle of the parasites. In order to ensure the administration of a proper dose, the body weight must be determined as accurately as possible. The accuracy of the dosing device must be checked. If the animals will be treated collectively, they will be grouped depending on the body weight, in order to avoid underdoing and overdosing.


RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
Shake the bottle before use.


WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: - Cattle – 10 days;
                          - Sheep, goats – 7days.
Milk: - Cattle – 72 hours;
         - Sheep, goats – 60 hours. 

 

STORAGE:
Keep out of sight and reach of children.
Store at a temperature below 25ºC.
Keep away from frost.
Keep away from direct light.
Store in the original packaging.
Keep the packaging tightly closed.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the bottle.
Shelf life after the first opening of the primary packaging: 3 months.
