Indications:
Mezym 20000 is used in children and adults with "exocrine pancreatic insufficiency".
In disorders of the exocrine function of the pancreas produced by a chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, nutritional disorders, flatulence and the Roemheldscher symptom complex; recommended in simultaneous resections of the stomach and small intestine, accelerated intestinal transit (nervousness, infectious intestinal diseases), disturbances in the hepato-biliary system, dyspepsia; the simultaneous administration of vegetable, fatty or hard-to-digest food.
Mezym forte is also indicated for the elimination of gas from the intestine before diagnostic examinations (roentgen therapy).
Method of administration:
The dose is determined individually. In general, 1-2 tablets are taken at the beginning of the meal.
Depending on the nature of the ingested food as well as the known degree of pancreatic insufficiency, 2 - 4 tablets can be administered during the meal.
The individual dose can be even higher.
Dosing for children is the sole competence of the doctor.
Tablets are swallowed before meals, with a little liquid.
