Indications:
Ambroxol, the active substance of Mucosolvan, increases mucus secretion from the respiratory tract, facilitates expectoration and relieves coughing.
Mucosolvan is indicated as a secretolytic in the treatment of acute bronchial diseases and exacerbations of bronchopneumopathy or other chronic bronchopulmonary diseases associated with abnormal mucus secretion and impaired mucus transport.
The recommended dose is:
Children: the following doses are recommended depending on the severity of the condition:
Children between 6 and 12 years: 5 ml Mucosolvan Junior 15mg/5 ml syrup 2-3 times a day.
Children between 2 and 6 years: 2.5 ml Mucosolvan Junior 15mg/5 ml syrup 3 times a day.
Children between 1 and 2 years: 2.5 ml Mucosolvan Junior 15mg/5 ml syrup 2 times a day
Adults and adolescents (children over 12 years): the recommended dose is 10 ml Mucosolvan Junior 15 mg/5 ml syrup 3 times a day
