TARGET SPECIES: Horses for recreational use, cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), goats (yeanlings), pigs (piglets), poultry (laying hens and broiler chickens), dogs, cats and minks.
INDICATIONS: The product NEOMYCIN SULFATE FP 10% oral powder for veterinary use is recommended in the treatment of bacterial enteritis caused by neomycin-sensitive bacteria in horses for recreational use, cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), goats (yeanlings), pigs (piglets), poultry (laying hens and broiler chickens), dogs, cats and minks.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer three days before and after vaccination with live bacterial vaccines. Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to the excipient.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administer the product orally, either individually or collectively (in the feed or drinking water), in different doses, depending on the disease, the species and the category of animal.
Horses for recreational use, cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), goats (yeanlings), pigs (piglets), dogs, cats, minks: 70 – 210 mg of powder NEOMYCIN SULFATE FP 10% (7 – 21 mg of active substance)/kg bw/day, for 14 days (depending on the evolution of the disease).
Birds (laying hens and broiler chickens): 70 – 210 mg of powder NEOMYCIN SULFATE FP 10% (7 – 21 mg of active substance)/kg bw/day for 3 – 5 days.
In the drinking water: assess the weight of the animals/birds (in kg) and calculate the requirement for a day, and add it into the amount of water intended for consumption over a period of 12 – 24 hours: 2 g of powder NEOMYCIN SULFATE FP 10%/10 kg bw.
In the feed: 2 kg of powder NEOMYCIN SULFATE FP 10%/ton of feed.
In order to ensure proper dosage, the body weight of the animals should be accurately determined, whenever possible, to avoid under-dosing.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
Do not administer the product as such. For group treatment, the correct calculation of the total body weight and the doses to be administered is recommended, the same as ensuring proper homogenization. The medicated water shall be fully consumed on the day of the preparation.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: calves, lambs, yeanlings – 5 days; piglets – 4 days; laying hens, broiler chickens – 3 days.
Eggs: zero days.
Do not use in horses intended for human consumption.
