NEOMYCINA FP 40% - Supports the digestive system - 100g Powder

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer three days before and after vaccination with live bacterial vaccines. Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to the excipient.

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
None reported. If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not stated in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
NEOMYCIN FP 40% is administered orally, either individually or collectively, in the drinking water for 5 to 8 consecutive days; and the doses are different, depending on the species, the age of the animals, the body weight and the physiological condition.
Pigs: the recommended dose is 20 – 40 mg of neomycin sulfate/kg bw/day, i.e. 50 – 100 mg of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/kg bw/day.
In the drinking water:
- 1050g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – for piglets and youth weighing 10–50 kg;
- 1350 g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – for youth and pigs for fattening weighing 51-100 kg;
- 1700 g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – for boars and sows;
- 800 g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – for lactating sows.
Broilers: The recommended dose is 20 – 40 mg of neomycin sulfate/kg bw/day, i.e. 50 – 100 mg of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/kg bw/day.
In the drinking water:
- 260 g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – for broilers up to 14 days;
- 500 g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – broilers of 15 - 28 days;
- 620 g of NEOMYCIN FP 40%/1000 liters of drinking water – broilers of 29 - 35 days.
In order to ensure correct dosage, the body weight of animals should be carefully determined, whenever possible, to avoid under-dosing.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
During treatment, the animals should only drink the medicated water.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: pigs – 4 days; broilers – 3 days.
