TARGET SPECIES: Dogs, cats.
INDICATIONS: OPTI – CLOR, 1% ophthalmic solution is indicated in the treatment of trachoma (granular conjunctivitis), epidermal keratoconjunctivitis, inclusion conjunctivitis or other superficial eye infections caused by germs sensitive to the action of chloramphenicol, in dogs and cats.
100 ml of ophthalmic solution contain:
Active substance:
Chloramphenicol…………………………………………………….1 g
Excipients:
Methyl parahydroxybenzoate…………………………………0.030 g
Propyl parahydroxybenzoate…………………………………0.010 g
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
None have been found for the recommended doses.
In some animals, hypersensitivity reactions may occur, e.g. a burning sensation, hives or contact dermatitis. Treatment should be discontinued in the event of allergic reactions.
If you notice any adverse reactions, even ones not already listed in this leaflet or believe the medicine to have been ineffective, please inform your veterinarian.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administer 2-3 drops in the eye, by instillation into the conjunctival sac, three times a day, for 5-7 days.

STORAGE:
Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Store at temperatures lower than 25°C. Keep away from sunlight. Do not use after the expiration date stated on the bottle. Shelf life after first opening the primary packaging: 28 days.
