TARGET SPECIES: Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs.
INDICATIONS: The treatment of gastrointestinal, pulmonary or genital infections, pododermatitis, actinobacillosis, erysipelas, leptospirosis.
1 ml of solution for injection contains:
Active substance:
Oxytetracycline (as dihydrate)……………………………..200 mg
Excipients:
Sodium formaldehyde sulfoxylate………………………….....5 mg
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not administer to animals with severe yeanlingney and liver failure.
Do not administer in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
Slight edema may occur at the site of inoculation, which goes away within 2-3 days. Following treatment, the urine may be darken in color. During the process of osteogenesis, tetracyclines can cause a yellowing of the teeth. If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not listed in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.
METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Administer it intramuscularly, in a dose of 20 mg of active substance/kg bw, i.e. 1 ml of OXYTETRACYCLINE FP 20% RETARD/10 kg bw. Depending on the evolution of the disease, repeat the treatment in the same dose, after three days. Do not administer more than 20 ml of OXYTETRACYCLINE FP 20% RETARD – for adult cattle, 10 ml – for adult pigs and 5 ml – for calves, sheep and goats in a single spot.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
In order to ensure proper dosage, the body weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: cattle, sheep, goats, pigs – 28 days.
Milk: 7 days.
