Panadol
Rapid 500 mg has been developed to improve tablet dissolution and provide rapid initial absorption of paracetamol compared to regular paracetamol tablets.
It is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of mild-moderate pain.
Panadol Rapid quickly and effectively soothes headaches, migraines, back pain, toothache, including those occurring after dental procedures / tooth extractions, muscle pain, menstrual pain, neuralgia, joint pain - including those in osteoarthritis and rheumatic diseases, sore throat, fever and post-vaccination pain.
It also removes discomfort from colds and flu and lowers fever.
Dosage:
Panadol Rapid film-coated tablets are taken orally.
Adults (including the elderly), adolescents and children over 12 years of age:
The recommended dose is 2 Panadol Rapid film-coated tablets (1000 mg paracetamol) every 4-6 hours as needed. Do not administer at intervals of less than 4 hours.
Do not take more than 8 film-coated tablets within 24 hours.
Children aged 6 to 12 years:
The recommended dose is 1/2 - 1 Panadol Rapid film-coated tablet (250-500 mg paracetamol) every 4-6 hours as needed. Panadol Rapid should not be given to children at intervals of less than 4 hours and should not exceed 4 film-coated tablets within 24 hours.
