INDICATIONS:
A. The prevention and treatment of reproductive disorders and diseases
In cows and heifers – in suboestrus (silent heat), persistent corpus luteum, ovarian cysts, placental retention and dystocia, chronic endometritis, pyometritis, the elimination of the mummified fetus, the induction of abortion (in unwanted gestations)
In mares – in persistent corpus luteum and anoestrous after parturition.
B. The biotechnology of reproduction:
In cows and heifers – for the synchronization of heat
In pregnant sows – for inducing parturition, for synchronizing and grouping parturitions.

COMPOSITION:
1 ml of solution for injection contains:
Active substance:
Cloprostenol isopropyl ester (±)……………………………..0.2 mg

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Do not use in pregnant females (except when you need to induce abortion or parturition).

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:
Intramuscular administration

A. The prevention and treatment of reproductive disorders and diseases
In suboestrus, after diagnosing a persistent corpus luteum, administration is performed in two ways:
1. Administration followed by artificial insemination or natural mating at the occurrence of oestrus; if it does not appear, the second administration is carried out after 11 days, and, 72-96 hours thereafter, the artificial insemination or natural double-blind mating is carried out;
2. Without the detection of oestrus, two successive inoculations are carried out, 11 days apart, and, 72–96 hours, 72-96 hours thereafter, the artificial insemination or natural double-blind mating is carried out.
In the case of persistent corpus luteum, after a single administration, the oestrus appears and the artificial insemination or natural mating is carried out.
For thick-walled luteal ovarian cysts, only one administration is carried out, and, for thin-walled or follicular cysts, luteinization with gonadorelin or chorionic gonadotropin is first induced, and, after 10-17 days, the product is administered.
In chronic endometritis and pyometritis, there are two options:

1. An administration with PROLIZ, which is repeated after 11 days, and, then, artificial insemination or natural mating;
2. The association with an estrogen:
Day zero – estrogen; day 4 or 5 – PROLIZ, repeated on day 15 or 16, followed, after 72 and 96 hours, by artificial insemination or natural mating.
In order to interrupt an unwanted gestation, administration is carried out from the 7th to the 150th day.
In mares – for persistent corpus luteum and anoestrus after parturition – administration is carried out between the 4th and the 13th day of the cycle, to induce oestrus.
B. In reproduction biotechnology:
In cows and heifers – for the synchronization of heat, the product is administered in two cases:
1. When the stage of the oestrous cycle is known – administration is carried out between the 5th and the 16th days;
2. When the stage of the oestrous cycle is unknown – two administrations are carried out, 11 days apart, and, 72 and 96 hours after the second administration, artificial insemination or double-blind natural mating are carried out.
In pregnant sows – for inducing parturition, in order to synchronize and group parturitions – administration is carried out between the 110th and 113th days of gestation, as a rule, 48 hours before the date of the parturition.
Doses:
Cows, heifers – 2 ml of product/animal (0.400 mg of cloprostenol);
Mares and sows – 1 ml of product/animal (0,200 mg of cloprostenol).
In order to prevent reproductive disorders, administration is repeated after 11–14 days; in the reproduction biotechnology, the single dose is usually used.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: zero days.
