TARGET SPECIES: Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs.
IINDICATIONS: In the treatment of scabies, demodicosis, cutaneous myiasis and ectoparasitosis produced by ticks, lice in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and dogs.
Cattle: in the treatment of scabies produced by Chorioptes spp., Psoroptes spp., Sarcoptes spp., of demodicosis produced by Demodex bovis.
Sheep: in the treatment of scabies produced by Psoroptes spp., Sarcoptes spp.
Goats: in the treatment of scabies produced by Psoroptes spp., Sarcoptes spp., of demodicosis produced by Demodex caprae.
Pigs: in the treatment of scabies produced by Sarcoptes spp.
Dogs: in the treatment of scabies produced by Sarcoptes spp., of demodicosis produced by Demodex canis.
The product is indicated for the target species in the treatment of tick infestations: Boophylus spp., Amblyoma spp., Dermacentor spp., Hyalomma spp., Ripicephalus spp.
1 ml of emulsifiable concentrate contains:
Active substance:
Amitraz ……………………………………………………..… 125 mg
Excipients: alkylbenzene sulfonate, triethanolamine, polysorbate 80, xylene.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
The product shall not be administered in dogs younger than 4 months. It is not administered in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
These reactions may occur occasionally: sedation, lethargy, vomiting, central nervous system depression, bradycardia and dyspnea, reactions that may persists for up to 72 hours (24 hours is normal). If the symptoms persist, the animals must be washed with water and soap (do not use detergent). If you notice any serious reactions or other effects not stated in this leaflet, please inform your veterinarian.
POSOLOGIE PENTRU FIECARE SPECIE, CALE DE ADMINISTRARE ŞI MOD DE ADMINISTRARE:
The solution is prepared at the time of use. In cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, 2 treatments will be carried out at a 10 – 14 days interval.
Cattle:
Spraying: 20 ml of product in 10 liters of water (one part product at 500 parts water). For an adult cattle, are necessary at least 2 liters of solution
Pigs:
Spraying: 40 ml of product in 10 liters of water (one part product to 250 parts water).
Sheep, goats:
Bathing: the initial bath: 1 liter of product in 500 liters of water. Calculate the volume of the bath, fill in with clean water, add the required quantity of product (according to the recommended proportion) and mix well. The height of the solution in the bath should be of 70 cm for youth and of 90 – 100 cm for adult animals. When bathing, one must take care that the whole body of the animal is immersed in the solution, including the animal’s head. When the bathing volume has decreased by 20%, the basin is refilled with a filling solution. Such solution is prepared of 1.5 liters of product in 500 liters of fresh water. It is not necessary to remove the crusts before treatment. The bathing solution shall not be reused.
Dogs:
A fresh solution of 1 ml of product and 500 ml of water is prepared, with which the affected areas are then treated locally. Depending on the degree of infestation, the treatment can be repeated weekly for 3 to 4 weeks. For the success of the treatment and in order to avoid the re-infestation of the animals, it is also necessary to deworm the shelters.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPER ADMINISTRATION:
The lambs can be safely bathed from the age of 3 months.
In lactating animals, the udder is thoroughly washed after treatment.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat and offal: Cattle, goats, sheep, pigs – 28 days.
Milk: Cattle, goats, sheep – 7 days.
STORAGE:
Store at a temperature below 25ºC.
Store away from frost.
Keep in the original packaging, tightly closed.
Keep away from light, heat and fire sources.
Do not use after the expiration date stated on the bottle.
Shelf life after the first opening of the primary packaging: 6 months.
Shelf life after dilution or reconstitutions as INDICATED: 24 hours.
