Properties:
- contains American blueberry fruit extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon), standardized to min. 20% PAC/proanthocyanidins type A (60 mg/tablet), dehydrated juice of Echinacea purpurea and D-mannose;
- Vaccinium macrocarpon is a plant characterized by the accumulation of high concentrations of biologically active substances;
- among the compounds in American blueberry are present: polyphenols (such as flavonoids), anthocyanins, catechins, proanthocyanidins, sugars, polysaccharides, vitamins such as vitamin C, organic acids;
- the fruits of Vaccinium macrocarpon contain type A proanthocyanidins, which have been the subject of much phytochemical and biological research and have proven their effectiveness superior to type B ones;
- Echinacea is one of the best known and most studied plants;
Active compounds in Echinacea include: caffeic acid derivatives (phenolic compounds), alkamides, polysaccharides and glycoproteins;
- the highest concentration of caffeic acid derivatives and polysaccharides is obtained in the pressed juice of Echinacea purpurea;
Echinacea purpurea can help maintain lower urinary tract health and immune function.
- D-mannose is a monosaccharide that is absorbed 8 times slower than glucose and metabolizes very little in the body (it is not converted to glycogen nor stored in the liver);
- D-mannose does not change serum glucose levels and does not influence blood glucose levels;
- 90% of the amount taken orally is excreted unchanged urine;
- D-mannose may have synergistic action with American blueberry extract;
- the special presentation form (gastroresistant tablets with enteric coating) can ensure the protection of active ingredients from gastric juice, their release to the small intestine and can give the product increased efficiency.
Dosage:
Adults and children over 10 years of age: 1 tablet 2 times a day.
The tablet is swallowed whole with a glass of water.
