Flora Balance mini is a combination of beneficial bacteria with a prebiotic whose active ingredients support normal gastrointestinal function and favor the restoration of intestinal microflora in animals.

Flora Balance mini is indicated for cats and small dogs, up to 5 kg body weight.

Lactobacillus acidophilus - by producing lactic acid, it increases the acidity in the intestine, thus inhibiting the development of pathogens, such as Salmonella, Escherichia coli and Clostridium perfringens. It is actively involved in the synthesis of group B vitamins, especially niacin, folic acid and vitamin B6. The specificity of the Lactobacillus acidophilus strain consists in its ability to hydrolyze urea, which, on the one hand, reduces endogenous production, and on the other hand helps to decrease it in the blood during chronic renal failure.

Lactobacillus Plantarum - reduces the imbalance of the ratio in the structure of the gastrointestinal bacterial microflora, which appears as a result of some stressful factors that manifest themselves over long periods of time.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus - produces lactic acid that supports the decrease of pH in the intestine, thus inhibiting the development of pathogenic bacteria. Its capacity in stopping the colonization with Clostridium perfringens of the gastrointestinal tract in dogs is approximately 80%. The metabolites produced by Lactobacillus rhamnosus stimulate both local and systemic immunity of the body. In addition, by increasing the intake of this strain in the diet, an increased sensitivity to insulin and a more efficient weight loss resulted. It has also been shown that supplementing the animals' diet with L. Rhamnosus increases the concentration of GABA - a neurotransmitter that alleviates mood disorders and reduces the general level of anxiety.

Inulin - a prebiotic, soluble dietary fiber, has a stimulating effect on the growth of beneficial intestinal microflora, stimulates the development of Lactobacillus. The acid metabolites of the beneficial microflora prevent the growth of potentially pathogenic bacteria.
