Description:
Lutein and zeaxanthin belong to xanthophylls, plant pigments from the carotenoid group. They have an important role in protecting the retina against changes caused by UV radiation and free radicals.
They are not produced by the body, which is why they require intake from food or supplements.
• They reduce the risk and intensity of certain diseases of the retina, cataracts and increase the efficiency of the immune system.
• Lutein, thanks to its ability to filter UV rays and its antioxidant properties, protects the retina against degeneration and thus improves VISION.
Omega 3 fatty acids are not synthesized by the body. Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) has a strong anti-inflammatory effect, supports the health of the retina, protects against certain types of cataracts and degenerative retinal diseases. Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) improve blood flow to the optic nerve, at the same time protecting nerve cells against various damages caused by diabetes, reducing the risk of diabetic retinopathy. DHA and EPA are found in high concentrations in the structural membranes of the retina and contribute to maintaining vision and the good functioning of the eye.
Grape extract is rich in PROANTHOCYANIDE antioxidants that eliminate free radicals, have anti-inflammatory properties and can inhibit the appearance of certain types of cataracts. The flavonoids in grapes increase the elasticity and density of the capillaries in the structure of the eye, including the retina. Zinc is a trace element abundantly present in eye tissues, particularly in the retina. It is an important component of the antioxidant system, which protects against oxygen-reactive species. It also contributes to a better irrigation of the eyeball and to the suppression of the complementary activation of the retinal pigments of the epithelial cells.
The polyphenol compounds from the green tea extract have a strong antioxidant effect that contributes to the significant reduction of oxidative stress and represents an excellent prophylactic solution against eye diseases.
Vitamin A accelerates the regeneration of the purple pigment substance responsible for vision after leaving the dark. In the retina, Vitamin A is transformed into a photosensitive pigment necessary for vision in low light or darkness.

Vitamins C and E belong to the group of powerful antioxidants that protect eye cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. Vitamin C also seals the blood vessels.
Vitamins B2, B6 and B12 support the production of red blood cells and the optimal functioning of the nervous system.
Vitamins B5 and B9 (folic acid) contribute to reducing fatigue and overwork.
